Kogami Akira
The mean super idol?
⭠ Like the summer uniform, this is just another typical gakuran uniform. I guess this really is the only kind of clothes the boys get.
Konata’s cousin who entered Ryouou High School at the same time as Minami. It takes a while to get to school from her house, so she’s staying at Konata’s place. She’s even smaller than Konata and her body is weak, so she visits the school nurse’s office often. Like her sister Yui, she really likes Konata.
Lucky Channel
A small segment at the end of each episode. They attempt to answer letters from viewers, or to explain the characters of the show, but every time without fail, some small thing will make Akira completely apathetic. You can’t talk about Lucky Star without mentioning this segment as well.
Kogami Akira
Voiced by: Hiromi Konno
A 14 year old super idol. Has been in the entertainment business since she was 3 years old, and probably as a result, she frequently complains like a disillusioned adult, despite her age. However, as an idol, she has to act bright and happy, so that side of her (more or less) doesn’t show up in front of an audience.

Her standard introduction involves raising her oversized sleeves in the air, then greeting with “Morning, luckies~!”

Shiraishi Minoru
The word “purity” probably only exists so that one can describe Yutaka. It’s not an exaggeration to say that her expressions are like that of a perfect little sister character.

Her sleeves are shorter in summer, which reveals her usually hidden hands. Though, some say it's cuter when they can’t be seen.

Konata and friends’ classmate. Appears as Akira Kogami’s assistant on Lucky Channel. The events that led to this are unknown. In the show he mainly plays the role of someone who starts panicking over Akira’s constant outbursts. He calls Akira “Akira-sama.”
She still has more time to grow, but because someone she knows (Konata) hasn’t grown at all, it seems she’s almost accepted that she won’t get any taller.

Unlike the cute design of the girls’ uniforms, this one is very normal-looking. Is this really the only kind of clothes the boys get?

Though her face may not look it, she does have emotions. However, the differences in her expressions are subtle, so it’s difficult to tell.

Akira has a dark side…!?
Akira’s summer uniform normally has short sleeves, but I really think her charm comes from her oversized sleeves, so I focused on making sure she has a cute-looking silhouette. Then, since she is a two-faced character, I tried to make that clear with her facial expressions. Dark Akira is really mean! (laughs) Minoru was designed to be cute, funny, and pathetic (laughs). He was a very easy character to draw. Since he’s an anime-original character, I tried designing him to not stand out too much, while still fitting into the world of Lucky Star. He seems like a somewhat unfortunate character. (laughs)
