Just noticed the parody. The kappa in the flashback is carrying the top of a pyramid, like Shuu did in Hokuto no Ken. Not sure if I should tag the parody or not.

I wouldn't say that, sure it's not exactly over the top stylish or stripperfric, but it's certainly racy compared to Nitori's usual clothing. How that top contains her rather bountiful chest is a mystery.
