This. They're in this to win, particularly Reimu since she's only even here in the first place because she's after the prize money. For them to now present themselves as people who need to lose would be horribly inconsistent characterization.

And even if they did, I fully expect Marisa's powerup to make her into an Overwhelming Aggressor To Be Overcome By The Heroines anyway. (Speaking of which, I still think there's more to Mima's plan than we've been told.)
