For little Youmu, she thinks that her grandpa/master is gone for good. If she meets him again, Youki will most likely be her crutch, which will halt any growth for her. Yuyuko won't want that, period.

Or Youmu and Youki meeting would cause some sort of time/space paradox, like dividing by 0.

If I remember correctly, it was because Youki had vanished without warning several years before.
