A MadoHomu comic I felt like doing, as I really wish there were more intimate interactions like these between them.

And, probably a hot take; I personally prefer the idea of Madoka being the one who protects/ takes care of Homura in a wider aspect. Homura may seem and act strong on the surface, but inside she’s just as fragile and the most unstable. Her existence only hangs on Madoka’s. She deserves to be safe and protected TOO after all the extreme hell she’s been through, trauma that remains and all her efforts to protect Madoka. Plus she either is an orphan, or a neglected, perhaps even abandoned child. Madoka displays more emotional maturity, she has a better support system and on the contrary is not as fragile as she looks, and could be the guidance Homura needs. Of course they both have been through hell, struggle with self-worth and deserve a care and protection. I just feel Madoka should be the one “in lead” between them. Just my take.
