The number of images per row on the pool pages depends on the size of your browser window. If you resize yours to be smaller, you'll see the page rearrange itself so that instead of three rows of seven (with four empty spaces in the last row), you have four rows of six (with no empty spaces).
Personally, I use an older monitor, so when I have my browser maximized I get five rows of five (with one empty space).

Because 24 becomes 6*4 on screens that are 1152 or 1280 pixels wide. At a resolution of 1920*1080, I wish for thirty thumbnails per screen.
On topic though. I was worried about Nitori's nosebleed earlier but this actually might be the first sign of bleeding due to over-exertion we've seen.
Standard trope for for telepathic or telekinetic overexertion; but yeah, physical's a rare one. I'm just glad her skin's not gonna slide off like roast chicken...
DJstagen said: If she takes this much damage trying to power-up and match Remi and Reimu, how much do you think she will take against the Immortals?
I'm starting to think that the winners won't be able to continue. Marisa's probably going to be in worse shape than Sanae by the end of this match, and Reimu and Remilia are going to have to answer to an angry mother after the fight.
So Marisa is going for the kill when she noticed that Reimu's mind is weakening I am starting to wonder what plan she has to be able to go as far as to literally destroy herself and order Nitori to focus on Reimu and continue the fight knowing that Reimu is now unstable and very dangerous all of this while she is smiling
Heparine said: Right, it's not like Reimu alone has beaten her senseless together with a dozen more people some time ago or anything.
Remilia admitted three episodes ago that she's doing all she can to just stand up right now. Reimu's obviously not that bad off but she's not exactly in top condition either. If Mima and an enraged Shinki were to double-team her right now, I think even mikohax plotarmor would probably be stretched to the limit.
Zaku_Zelo said: No. You're either overestimating the damage Marisa is taking or underestimating the damage Sanae took.
As a living goddess, Sanae probably has a much shorter recovery time, though. Just look at how quickly she was able to recover enough to pin Yuuka while she was distracted.

Kirisame Familia threw out an insane number of dirty tactics to undermine Remilia's vampire strength and Reimu's plotarmor, yet Reimu's still smacking them down.

It was a match-up between a kappa outside of a river and a magic-less, improvising magician versus a vampire and a hyper-talented, hyper-experienced combat master human. Did you honestly expect Kirisame Familia to win even with their dirty tactics?

Me too, it's a bit annoying that just because red 75% is winning it's plot armor, if they dodge or resist a hit, plot armor again. This isn't about Reimu's plot armor, any team would beat them like this without tricks to support them. Patchouli lasted 2 comics, Alice didn't do better, the kappa can't land a hit and Marisa's tactic from the start was a time bomb
Kirisame Familia did well for a team with almost no power but that's it, they managed to weaken Reimu and crush Remilia's pride and arrogance, that's a lot in my book compared to the other teams. However, this isn't a fight about effort, it's about obtaining an actual victory which they lost when Muscle Spark failed.

The only thing in your description of Reimu that doesn't fit Marisa is hyper-talented, because Marisa's been through just as much as Reimu. And it wasn't one magician, it was three. And her "improvisation" was a series of techniques carefully planned out beforehand for days on end by all three of her SA supports and the final bosses of three separate Touhou games. Some improvising.
Marisa and company have been in control of this fight from the start. Even when Remi and Reimu started fighting back, they were still in control. Their offensive was relentless and they were seriously underestimated.

They had the vast majority of the offense, yes. But that's part of why Reimu winning would be so unsatisfying. It would be like a WWE match. John Cena gets beat down for 90% a match and then "overcomes the odds" and flattens his opponent.
Marisa, Marisa, Marisa. Nobody cares about anyone but Marisa and occasionally Reimu. What about poor Backpack? He sacrificed his hands to get in one last hit on Remi! He's the true hero of this match.

You mean exactly the reason everyone hated the Immortals victory over Higen?

That's totally different. See, that was was a demonstrably inferior team, headed by someone who has gained the audience's favor through utterly shameless manipulation in the guise of concern for the weak rather than by doing anything that remotely resembles earning it, beating up a pair of top-tier contenders (one of them deceptively powerful for her short stature) in increasingly absurd ways including one equipment-based instance that just throws all logic out the window and happens for no good reason at all, all while showing flagrant disrespect for the very important job that the other team's last player standing performs for Gensokyo by blatantly doing the exact opposite of what someone with that job would want them to do. This, on the other hand...
...oh. Never mind.

Marisa's head will heal. Have you ever seen someone grow a new pair of hands? I bet you haven't. And if by some weird chance you have, I bet it wasn't a backpack with extending mechanical arms.

That was based largely on the Immortals realizing that Eiki placed a higher priority on acting as if she's really in a Kinnikuman manga than on winning, and fighting accordingly. This is just Reimu no-selling 40 episodes worth of beat-down with barely any recovery time needed.

The ones overcoming the odds are Marisa and company. Everyone knew that the moment they lost their momentum, that as soon as they ran out of manuevers, that once their offensive stalled, it'd be over for them.

Uh, canonically, Reimu is the one solving all the incidents, By your logic, Sanae, Youmu and Sakuya should be absolute bad asses since they've solve incidents before AND they hangout with final bosses.

I wouldn't say there wasn't any effect or instant recovery as we were distracted by other things as Reimu recovered. Even then her footing wasn't so sure. All the onslaught did was make her far less likely to hold back.
But as far as the Immortals, the way they suddenly gained unheard of strength and durability (particularly compared to their first match or early in the current one) out of nowhere. Worst of all, we didn't really see the finale.

It's been a good fight.
Indeed, Remilia's basically down, Reimu's showing some desperation. The only thing keeping Reimu from winning at this point is Nitori's nigh-suicidal stubbornness.
Maybe this is where the real clever point of Tewi's plan comes in... making Marisa choose between possible victory or Nitori's safety.
I think for Nitori it's a combination of her own pride and well she's representing the Kappa. She just can't roll over and give up! She's got to fight to the last.
I'm STILL half expecting a Kappa stampede or something to damage the ring. Half expecting the ring to be in worse shape than its in right now.

I'm thinking that if Reimu wins, then a lynch mob of the "weak" characters is going to rush the ring.
all I have to say, while I wait for the next comic strips, is that it's really fun to read all those self-made rules against Kirisame Familiar. To put it shortly, the game being played != the game that you guys believe it should be. "Dirty" tactics? If there were any of them, so far, the referee would have intervened.
Between a team which explores the most possibilities out of a game and doesn't joke around, and another which simply increases the first team's chances out of arrogance, people are cheering for.. well, you now realize who. (personally, the fact that Kirisame Familiar's tactics relied much more on strategy than on raw power earned points from me. Even Marisa, who tends to rely on power on the games, used the Hakkero's powers with technique.)
Finally, I'm okay if Kirisame Familiar loses this match, in exchange of a Mima and Shinki tag team :D (and some celestial and birdbrain stew in the process)

You seem to be under the mistaken impression "dirty tactics" is a synonym for "cheating." It isn't.

You also seem to be under the mistaken impression that the referees give a crap about the rules. Aya is basically a terrible referee. One of the only times she made any sort of call was telling Mokou not to trash talk the referee or face penalties. In response to Aya blatantly fudging the three count.
Rules are not so much of a thing in this. Remilia telling Kirisame Familia to do whatever they want was basically a "everyone else is ignoring the rules, you might as well too."
Although, Marisa making Reimu seem heelish when Reimu's team is following all the rules makes a nice parallel to Shiki trying to be the heel while still staying within the rules.

No, she's not. I don't who;s route is specific for each game, but Marisa B (I think it was B...) was the canon route for UFO.

And IIRC, Suika's route is canon for IaMP and Tenshi's route is canon for SWR, yes, both the final bosses of the first two fighting games won! Their plans were foiled by other elements besides Reimu's interference.
Didn't know about Marisa being the one to resolve UFO though. Nice bit of trivia there, though weird given she's the one with the least in common with the Myouren Temple cast.
