Well, he wasn't actually a part of the heroes but ya, it would be awesome. But we don't know what he "exactly" looks like. At least the other characters we do from the books.

No shit, i actually want him to be a total another person even. We already have enough time paradox jumping, is it that hard for them to think of a new Bloodedge that not relate to Azure?

It would've been more interesting if they used one of the concept designs for Ragna as Bloodedge's design. I guess they had to make him look somewhat similar to Ragna.
If you actually read that link you would know that Bloodedge is actually Ragna thrown into the pass, so in the end there's only one Bloodedge: Ragna hence it makes sense.
