If she’s a human, how old would she be. With the design, might be interesting to see her meeting Mokou and Kaguya, if she’s from the same era as they are.

Mokou and Futo are decades apart, but you have a point. I heard something about the Fujiwara clan later overthrowing the Souga clan and rising to power.
Also, all that took Mokou to attain immortality was an elixir, compared to the tons of work the Ten Desires characters went through. Plus Mokou is no hermit, so she need not worry about having to beat reapers coming to take their souls.

In addition, Mokou is a true immortal, while Futo like Miko and Hijiri are human saints. They don't age anymore, but can be killed violently.
Although with their level of power, I doubt anything can pose that much of a threat to them.

Oh, for some reason I was under the impression that physical death means nothing to hermits and saints. Thanks for the knowledge.
And I suddenly feel proud of Mokou who is my favorite character.:)

Really? That is awesome. I love old-fashioned ways of speaking (in any language), so that's going to give Futo a bonus for me. Her backstory sounds more likable than Seiga and Miko, too.

I do also feel sorry for Futo, Miko purposefully used her as a guinea pig to make sure the spell for immortality worked.
If anything went wrong Futo would have died permanently. Futo trusted Miko's power, although Miko didn't really know what the spell would actually end up doing other then grant immortality.

Really? She manipulated the Soga clan into fighting her own clan, the Mononobe, which lead to the destruction of her clan. She was quite the magnificent bitch on her own...

I do consider that much better than Seiga and Miko. After I got to read the whole story, Miko too seems more likable though.
iny said: She does. Look at some of her quotes:
"Thou who hast blessed my resurrection: speak now, and name thyself."
"Now, prepare thyself, for I shall demonstrate the fusion of the secret art of the Mononobe and the way of the Tao upon thee!"
"'Twas a rousing battle. Thou hast mine gratitude!"
Great! I don't like that way of speaking as much as I love slightly less old-fashioned ways of speaking like "You who once knew naught but ignorance now sees the world in its wholesomeness..." and such, but I find it quite fitting that Futo speaks in so archaic a tone, since she hasn't been in contact with languages in flux for centuries. I love it quite.
Anyway jokes aside, Mononobe's clan having connections to Mokou's clan makes a promising clash in the future games.
I wonder, if the two met at one point, what would they say to one another? Well, both of them have pretty cool lines, so whatever it is will be good.
Can't really tell, since we don't know their personalities enough. I have a feeling Futo won't really have anything against Mokou though. Mokou... well, I prefer Mokou not to judge people based on their intrinsic affiliations. Tojiko seems to be the one responsible for killing the man commonly speculated to be Mokou's grandfather (Gamatari) though, so I'm wondering how you... I mean Mokou and Tojiko will fare together.
We actually have a huge lot more to work with these characters though. Futo is based on the mother of a historical person called Tojiko no Iratsume, whom Tojiko is based on. And in actual history, this woman is in fact responsible for causing the war between the Mononobe clan and the Souga clan, just like what Futo did. To add to it, this woman is the mother-in-law of the Shotoku prince, whom Miko is based on.
