Not very much, actually. Cats' tails are so dull to the sense of touch that, should their tail catch fire, a cat wouldn't notice the burning until severe burn damage had already occurred.

That's just plain old animal!cats. Catgirls, as almost a rule, have very sensitive tails that register pain and pleasure to a wide degree. If you want to start an H scene with a catgirl who doesn't already have a mate, gently play with and stroke her tail. It will not take long for her to jump you.

heh you haven't obviously petted some of the cats i have. there are ones out there who will try to kinda wrap there tails around your hand..... but that has only been a few and surprisingly now that i think about it those cats came from the same family group???
