Everybody has their fuckups now and then. It's only in fiction where people get typecast as perfectly competent people who never make mistakes or dojikkos that ALWAYS fail.

AuthorKogasa and SanaeWife are both goofballs, although Hitoshi takes more time to point out his own flaws than his wife to avoid real-life Sanaelations. Goofballs are more entertaining than perfect straightmen, anyway, so as long as he keeps it at a point where the real person SanaeWife is modeled on doesn't get enraged, it's better for the comic as a whole, anyway.
