A light novel series by Touno Mamare that was initially posted on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2010 and has been published by Enterbrain since March 2011. Illustrated by Hara Kazuhiro.
The series follows the Enchanter Shiroe and the other players of the long-lived MMORPG Elder Tales after they found themselves whisked away to a fantasy world identical to the game. The light novel received four manga adaptations, with one based on the main story itself and the other three revolving around other important characters in the series. The first season of the anime adaptation started in October 2013.
