Warui (わるい, Japanese for bad, evil, etc.) + Luigi = Waluigi
Luigi's self-proclaimed rival, introduced in Mario Tennis. A sly, conceited schemer who secretly trains in order to defeat the Mario Bros., often competing against them in sporting events. Wario's partner in crime.
While thought to be Wario's brother due to early official English material, various later official sources over the years have confirmed that the two have no familial relation.
