The act of lighting up a substance like tobacco and either inhaling or tasting the smoke it emits. This can be done with cigarettes, cigars, pipes, hookah, bong and kiseru. Illegal recreational drugs like marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine can be smoked as well.
This tag can apply both when the actual inhaling/exhaling of smoke is shown and when the smoker is merely holding the implement they are currently using (such as a lit cigarette).
