    bridget (guilty gear)

ブリジット ブリジット(ギルティギア) 鰤 Bridget BridgetBrigade 布里吉特 Mayburi ブリメイ Uniburi ブリユニ

A character from the Guilty Gear fighting game series. First appearing in Guilty Gear XX, born as one of two male twins in an English village where the birth of same-sex twins was considered bad luck, they were raised as a girl, prompting their trap appearance.

Throughout Guilty Gear XX, they would reject the stigma of their upbringing and work towards proving their masculinity as a bounty hunter. Years later, as of Guilty Gear Strive, Bridget had since succeeded, dispelling the superstition of their village. In absence of that purpose, they experience unresolved doubts, ultimately determining to be true to herself, embracing her identity as a girl across the conclusions of her story.

Debuted in XX with a sleeveless and shortened nun habit (for ease of movement, not because they are a nun), a giant handcuff as an accessory, and bike shorts. In Strive, the nun habit is replaced with a similar hooded jacket, with the habit's mars symbol, pointed to the upper-right, changed to an androgyne symbol, pointed to the upper-left, matching the orientations of these elements as in the ⚧ symbol. In either case, they wield a yo-yo and their pet teddy bear Roger in battle.

Current policy is to tag Bridget as male unless physical evidence in the image proves otherwise, including the presence of the transgender flag. Non-bodily evidence (e.g. transgender flag) is only relevant to Rating:General posts.
