A male character with dark skin ranging from medium-brown to black. This refers to the character's actual skin color, not just a healthy glow or a complexion that is slightly darker than average.
Do not use this tag if the skin appears dark solely due to environmental lighting or shadows. To verify, check the whites of the eyes; if the sclera is grayed out alongside the skin, it is a shadow effect.
Likewise, if the highlighted areas of a character in a dark room remain pale, the tag does not apply. Distinguish this from the tan tag, which should be used instead for skin tones closer to beige or cream, or not at all.
