heat stroke
For images depicting a character suffering from one of the following heat illnesses: heat stroke, heat fatigue, or heat exhaustion. These conditions occur when a person's body produces or absorbs heat faster than the body can keep it down resulting in internal body temperature rising beyond normal. Commonly associated with hot summer days under direct sunlight, in anime and manga it is frequently depicted with staying too long in an onsen.
Heat fatigue is the initial condition where a person begins to experience: excessive sweating; cramps or spasms; and headaches or light-headedness.
Heat exhaustion is the next condition where a person begins to experience: heavy sweating; cold pale skin; fast but weak pulse; nausea; strong thirst; difficulty with focusing; and headache, dizziness, and/or weakness.
Heat stroke is the final and most serious condition, with a person experiencing: hot red or dry skin; fast deep breathing; disorientation or confusion; blurred vision; lack of coordination; and fainting or losing consciousness.
