playboy bunny
A character wearing a Playboy bunny outfit, also known as a "bunnysuit" or a "bunny girl".
A Playboy Bunny was originally a waitress who works at a Playboy Club and selected through standardized training. The first Playboy Bunny costume was introduced when Hugh Hefner opened his first Playboy Club in the city of Chicago in the United States during 1960.
A typical Playboy bunny outfit consists of a black strapless leotard, fake rabbit ears, a fake rabbit tail, wrist cuffs, a detached collar with a bowtie, fishnet pantyhose or fishnet thighhighs, and high heels. Minor variations from this norm include different colored leotards, differently colored bowties or other neckwear that may or may not match that of the leotard, differenly colored or designed legwear or lack thereof, gloves worn with or without the wrist cuffs, and omission of the detached collar, wrist cuffs, and/or bowtie/neckwear.
