The 20th Power Rangers series, largely adapting stock footage from Tensou Sentai Goseiger, and followed up by the 21st series in Power Rangers Super Megaforce, which largely adapts stock footage from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger.

Due to Gokaiger featuring a transformation gimmick which allows its team to transform into Past Rangers in the Legendary Ranger Keys, several Sentai teams which hadn't been adapted into Power Rangers were represented as "New Powers" and received Ranger names, in-show or otherwise. Kagaku Sentai Dynaman became the Battalion Rangers, Dengeki Sentai Changeman became the Blitz Rangers, Choushinsei Flashman became the Prism Rangers, Hikari Sentai Maskman became the Lightning Rangers, Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman became the Supersonic Rangers, and Gosei Sentai Dairanger became the Squadron Rangers (Star Force pre-Super Megaforce).
