rhein kraft (racehorse)

Kanmei (Most likely German: "Rhine (the river)") + German: "strength, power, force". Can be literally read as "Power of the Rhine".

Japanese racehorse. Sired by End Sweep and foaled by Must Be Loved.

Rhein Kraft was most famous for being the winner of the 2005 Oka Sho and the 2005 NHK Mile Cup. However, she was the only one between her major rivals to die before going into stud, having died of a heart attack in August 2006, three months after her previous race at the Victoria Mile.
