warden (minecraft)
A hostile/boss mob in Minecraft, introduced since the 1.19 update. A horned, dark teal monster with wide open mouth, and visible soul particles on its chest that glows cyan.
It can be summoned by an activated naturally-spawned sculk shrieker located in the deep dark biome. It is the only blind mob in the game, but still can detect players and other nearby entities through sound vibrations and scent. Wardens can walk as fast as player's sprinting speed. Its massive pool of hitpoints (500, equivalent to 250 hearts)— bolstered by its high-damage melee, ranged sonic attacks that can penetrate walls, immunity to fire and lava, and surprising intelligence —make it one of the most feared mobs in the game. Fighting one is guaranteed to result in the player's character dying.
