Normally I would go upload as much of a comic as I can at a time. However, as what happened with the last comic I did that, I am now just uploading these two for now. That way, if for some reason they are not approved, it doesn't hit me as hard. I just really hope this pool doesn't turn out how pool 8787 did. I rather not waste my time uploading an entire comic and pool it only to have it's cover page be approved while the rest were left out despite all coming from the same source.
Until the mystery of pool 8787 is solve, the uploading of this comic and all others afterwards will be slow.
Also, Maribel has such a cute sleepyhead look right now.
What a good idea. That way, instead of waiting for approbation and translation, we'll be waiting for approbation, upload, more approbation, and maybe eventually translation of the whole thing. What a genius plan. I am cheering. Yaaay, should I add, highlighting how much I think that plan is a good idea. I mean, what could possibly go wrong with uploading only two pages? Surely the people approving stuff will notice two pages in the middle of a massive flood of pictures. Nothing will go wrong. It's not like that picture already has a negative score because of some reason.
But I'm not sure how that's going to factor in approval scores. Pixiv would've been better though.
True, Pixiv would be better, but as all should know, there are time were certain things cannot be found on Pixiv. For example, I am quite sure that there are a few comics by angeldust that one will not be able to find at all on Pixiv, and are very difficult to find at all. The previous comic, pool 8787, I uploaded is an example of this. The only thing of it that was approved was the cover page, even though I downloaded all of the images from the source site. Aslo, the entirety of the images from pool 8508 were all from same source site as this image and they were approved. That in itself should mean that this image, all with rest of pool 8787 , should have been approved as well. Yet the rest of the images from pool 8787 I uploaded remained unapproved well after 3 days despite the fact that there appeared to have been no issues with the scans themselves. To me, it seemed like they went unapproved simply because they were from that site. Which, if true, would not make any sense since all of the images from pool 8508 were all downloaded from that site. I have been trying to figure out the reason(s) behind why the rest of pool 8787 was not approved and I came to the conclusion that it was from bias against the source. Shouldn't scans be approved or unapproved based on their quality rather than where they came from?
But I'm not sure how that's going to factor in approval scores. Pixiv would've been better though.
Could you elaborate on why this matters?
I saw a very high-quality artwork series from KanColle not approved past a specific point (see post #1758154) when its hard-translated version (post #1756746) was approved, of all things.
There seems to be some extreme inconsistencies at work when half of a work is accepted, including the hard-translated pages when there is an original version available. I haven't seen any explanations for why a good quality work would be turned down for the source.

Indeed. This issue needs to be brought up in the forums.

I went ahead and deleted all of the hard translated pages, if there isn't the parent, and its already translated into english, it doesn't serve a purpose.
I can't say anything about the pool otherwise, I don't see any appeals for it, so its likely the original japanese was overlooked especially with the hard translations coming up at about the same time

I put an appeal on post #1758154, and now both versions of the same post are deleted. :P
