On November 13, 2015 on Friday night Paris was attacked by terrorist. About 120 or so people were killed and many more were injured. There were about 8 terrorist, said to be associate with IS(islamic state), went to 8 different location and opened fire on the civilians in places like a concert and diners. 7 out of 8 of the terrorist blew themselves up while the last one was shot dead before he had a chance. ISIS claim to take credit for these events.
Huh, 224 people dies in russian airplane (quite probably by bombing), western media barely mentions that. Currently about 130 people are dead in France because of shooting, major uproar. You know, that asshat suicider pilot had more coverage than this russian airplane catastrophe.
Oh, and explosions in Beirut and Turkey were not mentioned. At. All.
Media manipulate informations a LOT nowadays. Don't hide your head in sand, face your problems.
You want 2015 to end already? In 2016, there's Euro Cup in France. Even more fun fun time I bet!

Well mostly of that was because when people heard "airplane crashes" and "bombing", they were like, "Again?".

I'd like to say it's especially everything happened in the country, no- the capital of France itself and this is no accident but really a massive random killing.
I won't pronounce myself to the other incident as I don't know much about them (sorry, I'm not the type to follow news normally but since France is the country I was born and I lived in the south of Paris, I gotta follow the flow of the event so you can say it's special).

Don't forget that on the same day in Japan on Saturday there was a pretty strong earthquake that occurred in Kyushu that caused a small tsunami. While I don't think it was extremely serious...still. Shit really is piling up.
Or this month sucks... So many things happen in this month.
Nah, truly with how France got attacked at the beginning and near the end of the year and how much VA and actors passed away due to illness (still sad for the loss of Matsuki Miyu (Cthuko's voice) and Izumi Masayuki (Kiba/Kamen Rider Orga)) then it's truly this year which is shitty.
You guys talking like if a year/month reset will stop bad things to happen by magic. I hate to be the one bursting the bubble, but bad things happen always and everywhere... we are only very selective about the bad things we care.
I'm pointing at the fact world won't stop either at your optimism or pessimism. The best you could do is not to get turned down for a successive chain of random misfortune.
If anything, 2016 will be bloodier as the situation with Daesh will come to a head. With the attacks on a russian plane, and Paris, happening in short order after large-scale intervention, I can't imagine Daesh will not continue these types of attacks.
As for the Russian airliner, it wasn't immediately ruled a bombing. I know most of the talk was speculation on whether or not it was a terrorist act before the evidence came in. Funnily enough, Russian authorities were upset about the Western media's sensationalism about it before any real facts came in.
The worst part is that these attacks are unlikely to have any real strategic implications. The goal of most terrorist attacks isn't to force the victim to surrender, but rather, to spur fanatics on your side and have the victim retaliate in such a way it further promotes bloodshed. Daesh does have a strong base among radicals, but I don't see how this can really change the status quo.

I wonder what new sources you go to, as there was constant talk about it in the western media sources I regularly visit for several days (ie the length in time in takes the media to get bored and over saturated on a topic and then usually look for the next thing to try and drum up/maintain viewers). I honestly feel you're downplaying how much they actually talked about it by quite a bit.
This is but mere words from a Tuna somewhere along the equator, but he still hope his words could bring some comfort and strength..
I hope those of our brothers and sisters in Paris stay strong in this time of hardship.. We might be separated by time, space, culture, location, religion, etc.. But we're still the child of men.. I will stand with you, brothers and sisters and along these words i bring my heartfelt condolences.. Let us not tolerate those who intended to bring harm to humanity, for whatever reasons they might say..
My blood are red, so are you.. Your bones are white, so are mine.. We might be different in appearance, but we're the same child of man.. Laugh together, cry together.. Supporting others in time of hardship.. That's what brothers and sisters are for.. For that is what we're meant to be..
