From what I gleaned, this girl would later naturalize as French (to be exact, La Fayette, hull number R96).
And judging from the fairy art for the F4U-2 Night Corsair equipment, it looks like she's gonna get her French makeover into the game too......Unless that was a completely different ship.

Makes you think when Fumikane-san will give Prinz her (most probably drab) 'Murican facelift.

He did!? I don't remember that. I remember his U-511 to Ro-500 transformation though....that was something. It makes me want the USS Stewart (DD-224) to be added to the game just to see what kind of transformation they could do to her (she was the largest ship ever captured by the IJN, I think. And she actually had a bit of a physical makeover by the Japanese as well).

IIRC, Stewart was turned back over to the US and re-christened after the war. It was largely symbolic, as she got recycled not long after.
Yeah, the outfit seems to be an improved version of that with the bad elements (pointless gaudy jacket, pretty meh pantyhose, etc.) trimmed and replaced with better stuff: black straps that draw more attention towards the armpit area, pantyhose replaced with thigh boots and straps that make the thighs stand out more, blue belt that doesn't get lost in the black skirt. It's pretty impressive how a more experienced artist can improve a simple sleeveless shirt and black pencil skirt combo with such minor changes, even if Zeco should have known better and not been so blatant with it. I wonder why he went with it though? Did he see that design and decide "pretty neat but I could do it better than that" or was it a result of him being busy/deciding to phone it in with a filler CVL as he seems to also have a new SoDak for the event.
Believe it or not, the CGs were uploaded in reverse. From what I gathered, this is actually the Kai form while the second uploaded is the base form. Had to edit the wiki to correct the mix-up.

Actually, nobody knows if Fumikane has actually done so. Just brought it up due to Prinz's history.
Her voice lines, surprisingly, have her outright boast about her role in sinking Yamato. KanColle has generally been pretty vague when it comes to discussing an American ship's successes against the IJN, like just having Johnston mention fighting heavy cruisers instead of directly saying she torpedoed Kumano.

If so, shouldn't this be tagged as Langley Kai Ni (Kancolle)?
