There is a point I can't tell if Azur Lane is a game about shipgirls in combat or about waitresses in revealing outfits. Not that I am complaining though. Today we need more games like Variable Geo.
Azur Lane accused Kancolle of being nationalistic right-wing nostalgia for old Imperial Japan, and Kancolle accused Azur Lane of being standard idol fare whose surface-level theme happens to be boats. The fun thing is, they're both right, and I love them yet. Can't win against shipgirls.
