but he also mentions the comiket (15.8) on his site. But I dont understand japanese, so dunno. I just have never heard of ishikei drawing doujins for any other conventions than comiket.

And Comic1*2 (Wisteria) and the first Comic1 too (the Code Geass calendar). So I was kind of surprised that there was nothing this year, but this is fine too.
Pepsi said: I've usually liked animes ishikei has made his doujins of. So, is this anime any good, or do people just like it because of the character designs?
it's both in a way, yes the simply because of the character designs, but the anime is pretty damn good.
Very nice. I've just started noticing the Tenshi art (more precisely, associating that cute silver haired girl with Angel Beats), and now one of my favorite artists is doing an Angel Beats piece.
Guess I'll be making space for it, this is about the point where I start wondering WTF the series actually is. . .

Hopefully someone will scan the doujin soon after the Comiket.

Because everyone already has all his stuff from 2006-2009. If I remember correctly, even the collection he bublished before that one took some time to get scanned.
There's no need to worry about this thing being scanned. It may take few days, but most likely we will get the scans within 2 weeks from the release date. (and if someone else doesnt do it, I know someone who has connections to japan, and will get his hands on it to get it scanned)
Well, it just seems like its a collection of the omakes ishikei has done. So no new stuff, just this one picture (cover) and maybe one or 2 new pictures if we're lucky.
I'm actually more interested in this http://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?p=1325682#1325682 A book with pictures by many artists like Ishikei, Mogudan, Carnelian and many more. (sorry for fakku link, I know that many people dislike fakku, but its easier to link that, than write everything here)
