The giant gun looks out of place, since I assume he's begging her forgiveness. But then again, I guess it'd be hard to tell her apart from the original without the military equipment.
Yeah, that's why the Saudi and Pakistani praise them so much... oh wait, they don't. Slapping another weight on every rifle isn't all that pleasant if you have to drag it everywhere. F2k is a bulky, mediocre rifle from the same overhyped futuristic-looking family as G36, G11 or XM8 (the last two being cancelled because the people behind them had some common sense left). The price is adequate for its target group - lousy armies that weren't in war since the 40's, but are in desperate need of a small number of fancy rifles to seem modern and everything, no matter how much it costs. Nobody else buys them because they simply aren't worth the price, lots of platforms do the same job for less money, and also because not everybody likes to be a part of FN's proprietary accesory / ammo game. Fabrique Nationale stopped manufacturing weapons years ago, now they sell fashion accessories. They are an equivalent of Hugo Boss - it looks fine, it gets the job done, but if you dump the brand name, you can buy three better working ones for the same price, and you don't have to subscribe to the devil to get your maintenance, spare parts or an another fix of the 5.7x28. There are still exceptions, but the times when FN was a reasonable choice are gone.

Actually, why not? Modern export AK series in 5.56x45 are only slightly less accurate than the AR platform, but without their finicky internals and godawful direct impingement. They are heavier than the AR, but neither heavier nor bulkier than the F2k.
Oh wait, the US is too AMURIKKA STRONG to buy Russian weapons. Too bad they're not AMURIKKA STRONG enough to not adopt cranky Italian piece of shit for their standard sidearm, or a Minimi for their SAW (suppressing fire with 5.56... Jesus Christ).

Wait, so new automatically equals reliable? Come on, now you're just pulling shit out of your ass.
