How do we know the corrugated metal sheet is galvanized iron? It could be a zinc impregnated steel alloy for all we know, and there's nothing on Pixiv to support the tag.
yes, thank you, i also thought about that. but that is the most common thing i known of and it looks like one, at least to me.
however, if there is any strong opposition then im willing to change it to a more generic as corrugated metal sheet, removing the galvanised/galvanized part.
i think there is a need to tag something to it because it's a prominent and very visible feature. i don't think just plain roof is right for it. any suggestions?
regarding pixiv, well, last i checked, it has only one tag. i think honestly that doesn't warrant to tag outside of pixiv tags.

I was trying to be a smart-aleck, but my point is this: while it may be a prominent feature, there is currently no tag for it. Is it worth creating a tag for when it's so specific? Even a corrugated roof tag would be too much IMO.
i created the tag corrugated_galvanised_iron_sheet not with the intention to be very specific but to be descriptive. descriptive enough to put its defining characteristics in the tag name itself. so maybe, i hope browsing a danbooru wiki entry would be totally unnecessary.
yes, it might be long. but do a google search for "corrugated iron". it will lead you to "corrugated galvanised iron" of wikipedia as the topmost result.
how about a google search for "metal roof"? another wikipedia entry will appear with a 'see also' link for "corrugated galvanised iron".
then i add a sheet to it, because it is one, instead of using: _(building_material)
it seems justifiable to me.
there's no tag before, yes. is it worth creating new? yes, i say. like i said, it's a prominent feature. you can see it even in thumbnail view. it's even larger and more recognizable than the pepsi and coca-cola logos. the "roof" is not something so small. even the dragonfly is tagged when it's harder to be seen.
is it not our duty as taggers, to describe as much as possible a particular post? is it not the reason why we have different levels of tagging? and aim as much as possible to the highest level? is it not better for a post filled with tags than remain undertagged for more than 3 years? which is the better way to go?
so i don't see a reason why i can't use it. since, it's quite new, i don't really expect to populate it immediately. maybe i can browse for similar posts later and fill it to avoid a sole entry.
of course unless, you are saying that i'm forbidden to create new tags.
