Question about maebari tag

Posted under General

the wiki for maebari defines it as

A strip of cloth that goes over a girl's bare crotch

Should images like post #146454 be tagged as this or should the maebari tag only be used if the item in question is completely covering the vagina/crotch, not just partially?

and somewhat related, would the tag be used for images like post #825969, where though most of the item is not directly on the crotch, it is still covering the crotch?

guess what this comes down to is should the Maebari tag be used on images where the crotch is not completely covered?

I might be mistaken, but wouldn't that qualify for the ofuda tag?
With respect to the maebari question, the wiki states it was used as a censoring technique,so my guess is once it doesn't cover the clitoris or anywhere within the vagina,it wouldn't count.Maybe you could add both the maebari and pointless_censoring tags for clarification.

Can't help you with the second post though, sorry.

Please don't.

I would say it needs to be somewhat affixed to the crotch to count. post #146454 wouldn't get tagged maebari, but post #825969 might.

Bumping this one back up, since I was just wondering if ofuda used as a censoring technique (like in post #2776152) should count as maebari. The current wiki seems to imply no, that only the specific object called a "maebari" should be tagged (and ofuda would be something different). But it has been used as such a number of times going by an ofuda maebari search. I think regardless of whether it should or not, there should also be ofuda on pussy and ofuda on nipples tags (neither yet exist) since they are common in censorship like with bandaids. That could solve posts that had to be slightly inaccurately tagged in the latter case too like post #1125908.
