Implication: Takoluka -> Megurine_Luka

Posted under General

With all the tako-variants coming out, I think it might not be appropriate to have the implication of takoluka->megurine_luka anymore. If you've got a takokonata or takosakaki it doesn't really make sense for them to be tagged "megurine_luka." The same way the yukkuri variants shouldn't all be tagged touhou.

Hmm, it does appear that the tag for this (from an admittedly small and unscientific sample) on pixiv is たこルカ, takoluka. I was hoping they'd come up with something not tied to Luka. Darn it, Japan.

Has anyone found a more generic term for this in Japanese?

It is just a name. Considering it's origin it is aceptable to me. At least it is not takomegurineluka.

I'd propose: No implication. Explain in wiki it's origin and not exclusiveness to Megurine Luka.

I agree with this. I don't think implicating Takoluka to Megurine Luka is necessary, and the Takoluka tag should be used with anything parodying it.
