Tag Suggestion+Implication: tail_between_legs -> tail

Tail_between_legs sounds like something worth tagging, so I think we should start using it.

Danbooru is full of people who murder infant tags before they can grow. I wish we could view the history of individual tags.

I second that. I know I would find that very helpful.

A feature request for this should probably be filed in the Trac.

I did a search for any tag history-related tickets, and found nothing that pertains to viewing all the changes to a single tag, so it's probably safe to file a ticket on this (though I could be wrong about that).

That is upsettingly counter-productive. I've seen it myself, though I can't remember where.

Yeah, someone tried to get rid of my poor infant うおォン tag a couple months ago. How cruel!

Aside from murder investigations, the definition of the tag needs some tightening. Is it intended only for cases where the tag is between legs as a sign of distress/fear, like the OP?

Or should it also include tails simply placed there because, usually as a means for convenient_censoring?

It would seem to me that it would apply whenever the tail is curled around to the front of the Cat/Dog/Fox/Whatever Girl, so all of those would get it, though post #616420 is probably the iffiest, but should still count, I say.

A distress tag might be useful, just in general. If we don't have it or something equivalent alraedy.

I'd say all of the examples you listed should count. Even if a couple of them aren't quite in-between the legs, I don't think anything would be gained by not tagging them.

And yes, the tag should also be used in all contexts, not just if the character is in distress. I probably should've clarified on that in the OP.

I'll third the people saying all of Hazuki's examples should apply, since tags are typically supposed to be visual rather than context-sensitive or based on interpretation (see wink).
