Chatroom?

Is it better to have a new chatroom in danbooru or what?

You can always just use IRC.

Really, I never knew Danbooru had a chatroom, and dead? I see.

Worse yet, there are two IRC channels - irc://irc.synirc.net/miezaru-illuminati which is the "official" one as of now, and the really old one from before the crash, at irc://mint.sayuri.ca/danbooru . Isn't it time we merged them, or something?

I've been to the old #danbooru channel (and had a nice chat with Stork) but it seem like there are more people on the old one than there's on the new one though. So should we stick with the old channel?

Rolling together the channels would really have no effect, tbh. People seem to stick in the old channel for tradition as much as anything else. : p

Vaccine, IRC is the lifeblood of the internet. If your chatroom is "different from IRC", nobody will give a shit about it :P Stork, then why not just roll the new channel back into the old channel?

I suspect albert made the new server official because RH or some other big channel he uses is there.
That, or because pyoko/sayuri didn't have a lot of services for a very long ass time.

I'm in both channels, but I prefer the old one since most the people I don't like aren't in there.

Well I dislike IRC because I unable to enter some IRC chatroom, I'm not sure why.

Get a real ISP then, everyone mass-bans aol.
That or maybe your ISP blocks IRC.

Well I don't know much about IRC, I remember some posts say I have to change IP or something.
