So as per the recent discussion we had on the tagging channel on discord the entrance tag seems to be used ambiguously partially because of the wiki description vs the original use the tag was intended for.
An entrance is an opening like a door, passage or gate that allows access to a place, the early uses of this tag initially showed this by showing gates or entrances to a building but eventually started to being tagged on images showing genkan entryways, doorways or even getabako, this is enough to say the tag feels ambiguous and sometimes even redundant seeing how tags such as school gateway already exist.
The wiki states it should be used for genkan but i think it would be more useful to instead deprecate it and make a separate tag for genkan/entryways.
There is also the foyer tag that i believe should be used instead for more wide open entryways like theatres or hotel lobbies.
