Incoherent tag and I am not sure what its supposed to be used for.

I do. I presume it's a tag meant for specifically modernism in architecture, which has a unique sort of aesthetic to it. These posts aren't at all incoherent to me, they are all very clearly in reference to modernism.

Where the problem lies is seeing things like post #3753697 in an architecture tag. Modernism is also an interior design style, which while certainly something worth tagging I think, I don't think it should go in this tag. Things like post #2758935 are the exact sort of thing I'd expect from this tag.

So in my opinion, I don't think it should be nuked at all. However, I do think it needs some reworking in order to make it viable. Maybe some kind of "modernism" tag for the interior design posts?

If it is specifically supposed to be about modernism, it should be modernist architecture. The interior shots could be "modernist interior" or "modernist [whateverthehouseinteriortagis]".

I...Don't think we actually have fucking interior design aesthetic tags, which is absolutely bizarre considering our architecture variety. I think the closest we got is loaded interior?

But yeah, I do think both of these should be tags. Modernist architecture and interior are both very unique forms well worthy of being searchable I think. But first...

rename modern_architecture -> modernist_architecture

Let's propose a rename as a "keep" tag BUR. A rename will also help avoid confusion from people not as well-hearsed in interior design or architecture. As for the interior shots, they can be gardened into a "modernist interior" tag, I think? Do we even want tags for specific interior design styles? I'm not against it, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to poke the probable hornet's nest that could be lying undisturbed here.

For what it is worth, I think east_asian_architecture is currently used for both interiors and exteriors.

Holy fuck, it is. And honestly? I think it's utterly nonsensical the architecture tags have to pull double-duty for interior design and exterior architecture. When I click on an architecture tag, I'm expecting to see architecture. Not interior shots, cool as they are.

I really think we should probably split those into their own tag, like "east asian interior" or something.
