Nuking Colored Petticoats

Posted under Tags

BUR #42593 has been rejected.

nuke white_petticoat
nuke red_petticoat
nuke black_petticoat
nuke pink_petticoat
nuke yellow_petticoat
nuke blue_petticoat
nuke purple_petticoat
nuke aqua_petticoat

Noticed the sudden existence of colored petticoat tags, which I really don't think we need.

I also noticed a lace-trimmed petticoat tag, but I'm not sure what to do with that one. I just know colors are too much.

Also, should these be deprecated so they don't get recreated?

I normally add a deprecation line, but I didn't know what to write for the wikis beyond a bland "Do not use this tag", so I was hoping just a normal nuke would do the trick. Though given the size of white petticoat, I'm not exactly confident in that...

It's a bit late now, but when I've come across Gothic Lolita and JFashion people online, petticoat color seems like a fairly common thing to group images by. That is a point in favor of keeping the colored tags, as people who are in that scene might want to search by that.

For the record, all these BURs need is one admin's approval, even post rejection.

Anyway, that only really adds a point in favor of the colored petticoat tag existing. It doesn't really change the fact a petticoat is such a small and often hard to notice detail that I don't see the point in having any more specific tags beyond that.

For me, I agree. I do not need to search petticoats (or actually any clothes) specifically by their color.
I'm just noting that I have seen some people online (GL/JFashion people) who actually would find this a useful search. I've seen a few times people requesting pictures specifically of yellow petticoats, red petticoats, patterned peticoats, so on.
As for it being small or noticable, the images in petticoat seem to take up about as much space in the image as a given image in red_socks (for example) might. There are tags with less screen space like blue_eyes that we want too.
