Killing Color Streak Tags 3.0

If we have to have tags like this, I find this version acceptable due to the actual versatility (so you're not stuck with highly granular streaks of hair). But I'm not terribly happy about it.

I like the idea of X_accented_hair tags. Though I think it might make sense to keep the streak tags separate and have them imply the accent colors instead of it being an alias. Then all of the various streaks/tips/inner_hair/etc. tags could implicate their respective accent color tag.

That would defeat the whole point in the first place. No one actually cares about streak colors. They care about it taking up the main hair tags. If we have to have them, I'd rather they be aliased to have actual utility.

The obvious solution is just to not tag blue hair when a character doesn't have blue hair. But apparently we can't have that, so here we are.

This is why I suggested mostly_x_hair in the first place. It's as you say - because of the userbase's autistic propensity to tag every color no matter what, expecting them to suddenly stop tagging post #9684835 with blue_hair is foolhardy at best. As such, it's something we simply have to work around, and x_streaks is not a solution for this because streaks are not the only means of multicolored hair (post #8300140, post #9496859 etc).

Both mostly_x_hair and x-accented_hair will deal with this problem, so it's really just a matter of preference between the two. While x-accented_hair requires a negative to search for majority hair colors (red_hair -red-accented_hair, for example), it also allows users to search for the specific accent color too.

Just give the colored streaks tags broader names so they also cover gradient hair, colored inner hair, colored tips, etc.
And then make them imply multicolored hair directly so you can do a search for red_hair -multicolored_hair that easily excludes them all if they didn't get tagged with something else that implies multicolored hair.
If there's a better name for it then let me know but I thought this makes sense for expressing the idea that this hair color isn't the character's primary hair color, it's a secondary hair color that makes up less than half of the hair and should be mutually exclusive to the main hair color tags.

This solution makes the most sense to me. While I'm not a massive contributor, I've seen enough discussion about this to leave me confused on proper tagging - and have even gotten direct messages about what to do/not to do regarding this exact topic - so I'd love to see a consensus be reached. Or at least ONE successful BUR on the topic so that it's clear what the tagging process should be going forward.
