I had uploaded a series of postcards illustrations from the official 2nd anniversary celebration for alchemy stars, but only one of the batch got approved. As the system message states, they all got reviewed by 11+ approvers but all expressed desinterest. I'm honestly curious about the reason, is it the lack of a tagged artist for the illustrations? Or is it that they're too simplistic/basic?

I've thought of appealing, but with the amount of approvers that looked through the posts I'm not sure if it'd be considered rude? Thanks in advance

I was told by reviewers that this post "No shading",isn't it rare that the dark areas on their necks are not shadows?
And its high-quality clothing design is enough to offset any shortcomings

post #6415692 is also from the same artist.
There doesn't seem to be a particularly large level difference between the two images.Shouldn't the former be equally qualified as the latter?

Images are judged without comparing it to others. Artists can draw good and bad images, just because one is approved doesn't mean we need or have to approve the other one too.

"No shading and weak anatomy."
Can you add more detail on this?

I’m an amateur artist and completely aware my art is garbage, but deleting my art and saying the reason is “no” is just asshole behavior. Explain why the art wasn’t accepted. The rule it breaks. Criticism maybe? Even just calling it low quality would be anything better than “no”. Immature if you ask me.
Honestly, lots of art here is deleted for very stupid reasons. You guys aren’t art critics, you’re coomers in a basement.

hmmmm, i'm gonna be honest, it's kind of absurd bringing anything up about "art critics" when the post that got deleted this way was post #6419798 and not your other self-upload; don't know what you expected there really. it's not just of non-existent quality, it's off-topic on top of that, despite somehow being about a vtuber which wouldn't normally be off-topic; i can only assume it's a deliberate shitpost, and danbooru isn't the place for that.
Point is, you can't really complain about a "no" deletion reason when you made the choice to post this which was very obviously getting manually deleted. It's obviously not about your art skills, and has nothing to do with immaturity, just take the L and move on, it's not a big deal

I’m aware it’s not a big deal, I just think it’s weird to have people who’s job is to delete low quality things and assess art but the critique is “no”

It’s not a critique; it’s a deletion reason. Would you be more happy if the reason said “unacceptable”? Because that’s what it means.
