artwork from this source has images tagged as different artists so I'm a little confused.

I thought it was someone uploading art they got commissioned to do but are they instead uploading art that they commissioned from someone else or what's going on? There's a lot of high quality art I would hate to upload with artists_request.

That's a commissioner posting commissions in the Arcalive channel for commissions, not an artist.

Ah sorry it was a while ago so I don't remember exactly why I linked it to that user. I think that I may have accidentally clicked on the wrong profile while searching and assumed it was the correct one. Sorry about that. billbung is 100% the original artist

This is where qualifiers come into play. Are they active on Pixiv? If so, their Pixiv id number can be used as a qualifier to distinguish them.

The ochano entry has urls of two artists mixed together. One is Chinese and the other is Japanese, both are active with clear gaps in their drawing skills: Ochano's Twitter; FL's Twitter. Ochano's Pixiv account was probably added to the old entry by mistake due to a mistag, since the old tag was ambiguously named fl. It later got renamed in BUR #14863.
I'm posting this for transparency and because I'm not sure about a new tag for FL, maybe fl_z_(flertis)?

Assuming no one can piece together who they actually are, how should I romanize 田部井? Worst case scenario, I can always alias them later on down the line, I suppose...

You can use the equivalent of the famous name Junko Tabei (田部井 淳子).
Just pay attention to the comment on your link. Probably the artist is already in the database. kuruizaki flower
