oh god it gets crazier every time I play. hit Lilly now and instead of the usual attacks it said "ITS SHOWTIME", changed the background to stars, and put me in "multiball" mode.
and now i just launched at way too high of an angle (like 82 degrees something like that), and after a few empty bounces got hit by someone from above and got the achievement that says "met Hideaki". not sure who that is to tag them tho.
I decided to BS it and started extremely low w/ near full power and somehow sent this poor bastard through time and space without even trying. I can't stop laughing.
So it turns out if you enter Multi-ball during Rumba mode, Rumba mode stays locked on whatever phase it was in.
I entered Multi-ball while Shizune was locked in Rumba mode.
SO MANY VETOES.
One got eaten by Gendo after about 10km, but I went a long time before Thurman Thomas got the other... and only after having gone more than 70km in Multiball, just shy of breaking by own record of 89km... which I soon passed, going 143m/s, with 5 wahahas and an extra life.
I thought, "This is a good, epic run. I could end this happily now".
Then at 135km, I hit Misha... while Misha popped up to block.
UNLIMITED DRILL WORKS.
It was pretty awesome but as you can see, I only made it 10km more before running into Shizune with an assload of Wahahas... turns out it's really hard to use them while traveling 130m/s.
I fired out at 56 degrees with 98% power and didn't touch the controls again until I came to a complete stop due to lack of momentum, not from hitting Shizune. I ended up just shy of thirty kilometers with a max height of over half a kilometer and a max speed of 184 m/s. That's faster and higher than my furthest distance run.

My goodness, I thought it would never stop. I got touchdowned (?) twice, cloned thrice, had up to six greasy piggys and kept an extra life since almost the beginning of the game until almost the end, when I got caught again by the student council. And all that with a surprisingly absence of Misha (no unlimited drill works or yukkuri ride).

Just managed to get that myself, had to add a couple of tags as a result.
Weeks later, and I still find that the gameplay is so amusingly random. I've broken 55k in distance at least 4 times now, and for two of those times the only time I clicked the mouse at all was to get through the Tecmo Bowl bits. Love it.
Holy shit, I just got two multi-balls and a freakin' Unlimited Wahaha Works in one run, finally ending on Shizune at 107949.6 meters. My max speed was just over 140 m/s.
61830.86 on my first try (only to have the student counsel catch me). Not bad. I've found my new favorite time-waster. It's like Kitten Cannon, but better in every single way!
Super Mario achievement...heh. Once they set you fire, you fly forever!
GOD DANG IT! On my second try before i even knew how to play i got to the 120k mark and got like 200 something speed, i played for like 2 hours then i got didn't even get close to that, then finally i clicked on a link to this page with my broken ctrl button and deleted all of my progress...of course.

I always delete after each run cause I like to see what kind of achievements I can get in one go.
I've managed to fulfill my dreams of traveling around the world, being an astronaut, and eventually turning into an asteroid and seeing the ends of the universe.
Yes, these were dreams of mine. Especially the part about turning into a flaming ball of rock.
Over 187K distance, SO close to 1000 height, I unlocked a TON of achievements.
Hell, I think I even broke the fourth wall at one point.
Usually I'm not into these distance-cannon shooter thingies, but this was AMAZING.
... Alright, Misha saved me during panic mode, But I had also hit Misha So there were two mishas.. in short the universe almost ended when the two of them met.. Needs Star Trek and Portal 2 tags... also Space Core
Holy hell. Multiball with Shizune Rumba after Unlimited Drill Works. I had 5 Wahaha~!s a full AED and 4 Pig Counters. It kept going. Then Ao Oni ate one guy. Thurman Thomas rushed one of them. ZA WARUDO hit another, and launched it so far that I forgot about it and played the one that was going which proceeded to get a rin in a bin, then took a yukkuri ride. Then my other guy came down and was eaten by gabe newell. So once I'm out of multiball, my one guy hits Miki, Rin, Rin, Rin, Lilly, Hanako, Shizune (hanako dodge) Misha then Emi before I used my AED to crash into Mutou for once and slow down enough to. Then I bounced into Shizune and ended it. Got "What were you waiting for?" achievement.
Wow, during my 45,000 meter journey, I witnessed some things I'm not sure I should ever have witnessed...I believe I may get addicted to this game. O_O
1.29 0.50 2.85 0 0 I bet you guys can't beat my amazing high score.
Edit: What really amazes me about this game is that for all the references it contains, it somehow manages to avoid making a Touhou reference. Well, aside from yukkuris, but they don't count.
Ugh, I can only get five digits' worth of distance. For me, the best part is seeing Ryan North's dinosaur race across the screen when Hisao is booking it. Much yes contained here. Why is it not fit for any pool? Mundane made awesome, perhaps?
