    Isn't GP02 also a Gundam? :-)

I used the NTT Hikari Portable I just happened to be carrying. You connect via wifi on the access device, then make calls via LINE or Skype. If I'd had a SIM-Free iPhone, I could have called with that, but even used SIM-Free ones are about ¥70,000.

For the SIM, they've got three telco counters all in a row at Taiwan's airport, so just pick whichever you like or some such. I bought one at the counter furthest in. I was just doing as the Ran-shama person said, so I don't remember the company's name. (^^;)

The only reader-added tag right now is "The tag editors are also infected."

    Doo-doo-doo-doo...The system...is down :

The net's not connected! What to do?
    • Reboot your PC
    • Reboot your router
    • Try checking your hub
    • Check the cables
    • Sulk in bed

How am I supposed to choose when I do all those in that exact order when 1 of those doesn't fix the problem right away...?

    [1] Reboot your PC
    [2] Try checking your hub
    [3] Check the cables
    [4] Reboot your Router
    [5] Sulk in bed

Much better, oh and you could also consider "yell at your local ISP" as an option.

I think maybe the lingo might be a bit different here. Seems like maybe "hub" is "router," "router" is "modem," and "SIM-Free" sounds like what we call "unlocked." But that's speculation on my part.

There are old school classrooms that teach networks that have it and yes we do use it to show packet collisions. Ignoring that....

They also sell the devices at second-hand stores in Japan for about ¥3000, so it's a bargain.
Guess I'll have to request overseas roaming in order to use the net in Taiwan.
That's what you told me, and I bought one...
    What the hey?
    That's strange...
    Before departure...
It costs about ¥1500 yen over there for SIM you can use all you want for five days.
Oh, you'd be better off buying a SIM-Free device!
