I find it kind of funny that Toriel is worried about letting Frisk see affection, considering the amount of monsters they're able to flirt with in the game.
Toriel? Frisk very likely flirted with you, hooked up those two guys in Hotland, dated a skeleton, a piranha girl and a dinosaur girl without mentioning the very likely romance of at least one tsundere.

And right after calling her mom, too! I didn't know what to expect when I first played Undertale, but an Oedipus Complex joke was definitely not one of them. Not that I'm complaining, of course!
