You know, I'm starting to see a pattern in Kancolle's trauma train.
First, Roma comes in causing a bit of tension with the German vessels, especially from the moment she was (pre-emptively) backstabbed.
Then, Graf Zeppelin shows up who, while not necessarily having any combat experience, uses similar weapons that sunk a small number of the shipgirls.
Next come Iowa, who contributed very little to Japanese shipping losses and only ended up taking out 1, maybe 2, of the less important/notable shipgirls.
Harder next? Maybe Albacore if the devs are feeling particularly gutsy or Cavalla if they want to take it slow?

Well, I dunno about that. Gen. MacArthur himself shot very few Japanese soldiers (if any escapes me) but is responsible for the death and defeat of a whole lot of them.
In this way, the Iowa is like an officer or Ex-O, not so much a direct front line unit. She shared in a lot of the strategic/tactical effects. Likewise, the New Jersey and later Lexington, both of who are known for their command role, not their combat role.

Well, Cavalla would be the gutsy choice here, considering. The 'Lucky Lady' herself, or 'Little Miss Ridiculous' would be a little much considering that her kills were Shoukaku and Shimotsuki (Akizuki-class DD, the US' submarine force's #1 DD target, and she's the only Sub that nailed one of them), the equipment she carried (homing torpedoes), and what she remodeled into. A Hunter-Killer Submarine. Really, how is that going to work in game? An ASW Submarine?
ido has yet to show the trauma of the Yamato sisters who took a massive beating from plane spam.
Honestly, about a third of the IJN was lost to carrier aircraft, so WAAAAAY more than just the Yamatos. Subs got the second-largest share, as well, especially among the DDs, bringing up the "sub trauma squads"...
LOL! Poor Leberecht and Max! Real bad memories for those two...!

I'm scared...Ooh!You're a lifesaver! We're being pressed hard!In their previous life, the cause of these two sinking was mistaken bombing by the Luftwaffe.
Well, not directly; but it was the start of the chain that led to them sinking. Lebe was bombed, Max hit a mine trying to rescue her.A lifesaver, is it...?We'll be in trouble if this keeps up!They're with the Navy this time, right? It'll all be okay... it's okay...I've kept you waiting, ja?
The Graf Zeppelin will now enter the fleet.
