Not really, only the hotel could overmatch it and there is no way in hell she's getting more. Really a much bigger problem is the 15 inch guns, a bunch of T8+ cruisers got buffs with 27mm bows which means 15 inch guns just don't cut it like they used to.
And that is why WG will decide that Richelieu is "too confusing" and make it a premium and instead make some sikret archive Richelieu with 4x2 a la Bisco with 406mm guns)))))))))))))))

Um no, the T8 British BB is going to have 15 inch guns, Bismarck has 15 inch guns. It's not a huge handicap, but it can be a handicap in some situations (god help you if you come up against a Des Monies in a 15 inch BB without someone else that can shot at him). Richelieu MIGHT end up as a Premium with her 1944 US refit though, but if so Jean Bart with her immediate post war fit as top hull will likely be the Tech Tree version.

USN have 38mm casemate protection, and middle section deck and thus you need to be either German CA, Henry IV or special kind of player that uses IFHE on 203mm, to directly damage it with HE. If WG for some reason decided that lol no 38mm for France than those ships will be extra vulnerable, and unlike RN BB they don't have RN heal and cruiser tier stealth. Though all this is a speculations. I doubt full line will come before mid 2018, and by that time huge amount of mechanics can change.

Also that armor is actually a historical inaccuracy on Iowa. it's supposed to be a deck lower front of the main belt at the waterline (it's job was to prevent small caliber HE from tearing up said waterline outboard of the inclined belt), this has been reported for YEARS, but still isn't fixed.
Though it doesn't really mean anything anyway because the entire bow and stern or basically half of the ship is 32mm plating and if you're angled in or away (as you damn well should be most of the time!) in practice those areas make up an even large effective percentage of the target cross section. This is even more true for the upcoming British ships and the Japanese neither of which has any sort of casemate armor above the belts.
The French are not special snowflakes that need or deserve impenetrable and HE proof bows, particularly when they'll already be able to fire eight 15 inch guns forward while being totally safe from any BB not named Yamato
