Not sure about the Alpaca, but the adult male penguin will regurgitate a white substance into the newly hatched chick's mouth, to keep them fed until the mother gets back from eating fish and can take over.

In real life though, alpaca manure can be steeped like tea to draw out its nutrient and then used to be sprinkled on sapling to raise it's survivability; it's named Alpaca [manure] tea
