Artist's commentary
Stitches
"What's wrong, Commander? Your face is beet-red. This is just what a T-Doll undergoing repairs looks like. There's nothing strange about it.
You should remember, though, no matter how human we dolls may appear on the outside... If I just do this--you see?
But for the Commander who can accept a doll even when she looks like this... I want to have myself stitched up nice and proper for all the fun we're going to have."

Girls stitched together (both physically and figuratively) should definitely be a moe genre.
I'd been planning to draw MAC-10 ever since I drew Skorpion back in... good lord, almost exactly a year ago!
Anyways, I always felt as if G&K would make modifications when converting civilian dolls into T-dolls--and not just hardware-level modifications, but perhaps additional software modifications, too. And so, what if MAC-10's personality was a result of her mental model having combat software stitched onto it? Just a personal theory (although I haven't put too much thought into it beyond that), but there it is.
Aside from that, I've actually given up on trying to draw guns (I originally wanted her to be opining her scar with her gun). If you guys are cool with me not drawing T-dolls armed, I'd like to keep doing that... But what do you think?
The artist was thoughtful and generous enough to actually write out an English translation of his own, which you can see in the Original side. I tried to tune up the wording and and smooth out some rough spots, but the meat of it was all his doing. Very cool guy.
