It was already kinda a thing because of this line of hers on the home screen:

ふんっ、私はお母さまとは違うんだから！
料理だってその…卵焼きだって作れるし！

Hmph, I have you know I am different from my dear mother! The art of cooking is something that I can... well, I can at least make tamagoyaki!

Though there is also a recent upsurge of these arts. Not sure what is causing this though.

Ah yes...coo-KING HALO.
Now to make my royal escape...

For those that do not know the Oyakodon. It's basically fried chicken cutlet with omelet and green onions on top of rice. Sounds easy to make but hella good when made properly. The Parent-and-Child expression comes from the ingredients of chicken and egg. Therefore the name itself is a small joke in itself.
