I think this is officially the first time that the elf girl has smiled. Also, the mother and daughter can smell the ship brewing and are not letting the doctor off that easily.
2: I am simultaneously interested in and frightened by what her internal monologue was for the first couple of pages. If she was even present mentally that is.
3: The Google translation of the title gets a laugh out of me. “A drug dealer who makes a tattered elf happy.” Technically it’s accurate.
Edit: Would maggot treatment be an effective way to help with the gangrenous extremities? Or is the size of the affected areas too great? It was above the elbow on both arms, one leg was up to mid thigh, and the other was below the knee. (And that was at the start of the series.)

That is assuming there's a creature in that world that shares maggot's dietary restrictions aka scavenger that only eat rotten parts and leaves the healthy part alone. I'm somewhat guessing a slime will do the trick.

The conversation then turned to them baking a cake with the pumpkin to celebrate.
......And I decided to take them up on that...Does it taste good? It's sweet...

delicious...!*Thonk!*Before I could get into any detailed conversations with Reszurre, one of my other patients, a vegetable farmer, arrived to share an unusual pumpkin with us in appreciation.
Therefore, I immediately went about making a pumpkin stew...As if her being bedridden and disoriented the night before had just been a myth, Reszurre was able to dine and converse without issue. For now, I'll take a wait-and-see approach to her memory loss and first focus my efforts on healing her body; as I was thinking that, the reply to the letter I sent my friend arrived right on cue.
