No translations yet but judging from some of the comments on twitter posting reaction images, it's not good news for her limbs.

Well, they've been necrotic for what seems like months, so it's kind of unbelievable they haven't fallen off on their own.

Yup. Forget fallen off, it's a miracle they haven't killed her with raging sepsis.

Just spotted a rough translation of this page, and it looks like she's slowly recovering except for her eye and limbs. There's apparently a curse on her along with the injuries that's keeping them from healing: the uncovered eye is healing but the vision is weakened from the curse, the covered eye isn't healing at all and even replacing it wouldn't do anything, and the between the curse and infection the limbs are a complete lost cause and need to be amputated to save the rest of her body.

    Guessed that right.

On plus side, Medicine Man bringing her to Adam is a correct choice instead of pushing down the route of High Potion, because now we knew there's a curse involved.

On the minus side, does Medicine Man has a Priest friend or not?

Depending on the setting, cursing someone can be as expensive and elaborate as curing them.

I mean, we know whoever did this to her in the first place is likely rich. It wouldn't surprise me.

So, that would mean she has been cursed at least twice: Indirectly with an implanted cursed object and then directly with whatever is messing with her natural immune system.

We know who did it it was her former owner who sold her to the slaver in the first place. Remember that object Medicine Man recovered from her stomach? That was a poison receptacle that was also cursed.

While a certain amount of money is required for doing all the curse/poisoning in the first place, sometimes not-wealthy people throw down money outside their means when they get obsessed with something. It takes Captain Ahab levels of pathological loathing to torture someone this much, especially since, even with amnesia, the whole concept of this series pushes back against the idea that she might have done anything at all to deserve anything that happened to her. (When this trope comes up, it's often something like a noblewoman making a slave's life the most utter hell they can imagine for being prettier than her or something equally trivial just to make sure there's zero chance of relatability for the mustache-twirling villain.)

Considering the nature of the curse, if he hadn't stopped the progress of the poison, she'd be a living zombie by now. The one curse would have kept her alive as it worsened. It's a rather creative way to torture someone for as long as possible without having to lift a finger.

Which raises the question of why the instigator went through all of this trouble.

I've seen some images of the in-progress prequel to this (it's on fanbox, so don't expect to see it here) and she appears to just be a random kidnapping victim by a band of humans crooks/bandits/slavers/whatever. So it's not part of some 'revenge' for something she did, and otherwise just seems to have been an attack of opportunity as she was alone and unaware. Unless some part of the dialogue I can't understand that says otherwise, there's no direct reason for it to have been her.

Which would mean that either whoever paid for/cast the curse hates elves that much, or are just an unrepentant sadist who gets off from ruining effectively random people in all meanings of the term.

The one curse was a poison pill that was also going to kill her. There's been no mention of any curse that was meant to keep her alive. Your anti-zombie bias is leading you to (intentionally or not) misread the facts.

I was originally thinking that the slaveowner just wanted to make sure she was dead so that she couldn't tell anyone else about how badly she'd been treated, but on second thought, given how little most humans in this setting (at least the ones with power) think of elves and the like, I have a hard time believing that anyone high up enough for the slaveowner to be worried about would listen to what she had to say, or care. This still reads a lot like a "trying to silence her" attempt to me though, so my bet is going to be that Rezurre saw or heard something during her time in captivity that the slaveowner is very worried about getting out - worried enough to go through a lot of trouble to make sure she "goes somewhere where she won't be a bother and dies" before she gets an opportunity to rat him out.

Again, there is never a reason in a story like this. Villains like this are less humanized by their authors than a tapeworm. They exist to be card-carrying EEEEEEVIL, so like Galvatron they will use their army meant for galactic conquest to build an overly-elaborate device to kill a puppy instead of doing anything that actually advances his long-term goals just because the author knows the audience will go "Oh no, a puppy! I like those! Stop the bad man from hurting the thing I like!" when they would be bored by an actually sane plan.

This goes double whenever the series features some sort of anti-hero. The author doesn't want you rooting for anyone but their dark and edgy loner, no matter how much of an abusive jerk he is, so they'll make sure the villains are total puppy-eaters to compensate. If the 'hero' uses things involving dubious or totally lacking consent like slavery or mind control, then that just means the sadism of the villains has to be multiplied by that much more so that anyone with enough critical thought to notice there isn't much difference between what the hero and villain are doing will be so put off by the torture porn to read in the first place.

Making a lot of assumptions on the author here.

She should have lost her limbs completely awhile ago. The curse is keeping her eye from recovering. I'm going with the idea that the curse is meant to keep her in one piece for as long as possible while preventing recovery as the poison ate her alive.

Kind of a Sophie's choice scenario. If they remove the curse, will her condition worsen?

The author's free to surprise me. I'm just saying what the cliche is, having seen these tropes quite a bit before.

Titles on recent Japanese works tend to be extremely literal, to the point they are afraid of deviating from what is described on the tin. The audience is promised that medicine man will make beaten-up elf happy, so whatever happens, it's going to lead to a happy elf. And you basically aren't going to see such an obvious hurt comfort fic actually have the victim that exists for sympathy (and being sexy) appear in the wrong in any way, so therefore the villain has to have no reason for the things they do. (And if you're confused, I'm not saying that medicine man is an anti-hero, that's just me ranting about how much worse it is in those stories that do have anti-heroes.)

Translation's done, with the usual caveat of "I can't make notes at work". Expect it to be up in ~9 hours.

Nope. What was keeping her alive seems to have been an innate property of her elven body that slowed down the curse's progression, if I understand the translation correctly. It's the reason she is still alive to begin with; assuming I'm reading this right, if she wasn't an elf she would be dead by now. Which also answers the question of how the hell she doesn't have sepsis that I've been wondering about.

You got that right, i have read the Fapscans translation and its pretty well explained here in simple English. So if she wasn't Elf but different kind of or normal human being, she would have been already dead sadly. Her attribute as anti natural status effect being helped her to stay alive for a long time. However her limbs are still deteriorating and poisoning her so if the Medicine Man have kept her condition any longer than it is right now she would be pretty much at the risk of being dead.

So i am guessing that Adamska gonna cut her limbs and then he gonna make her limbs like her by giving her flesh prosthesis replecaments. She might look like stiched zombie look like elf but at the very least we have to appricate the fact that she is going to get covered and gonna lead a healthy life with one eyes for the rest of life.

And many thanks to Kinsei for great translations as usual by the way!

As much as I can already hear Steak simmering over that idea, I doubt we'll end up with Elf Bride of Frankenstein, but instead go for magic regeneration potion that will fully restore all limbs without any scars by the end of the series. Learning to live with and appreciate quadruple prosthesis would likely be a interesting story, but again, this series front-loaded all its sadism and is promising a happy end, which many Japanese audience members (and Steak) would object to having zombie limb elf wife being "happy".

At which point, you have to wonder why the slaveowner doesn't just quickly kill her. Cut off her head and she'll never spill any secrets ever. But no, he apparently went with some complex death-curse that kills slowly by rotting the person alive.

At this point you can safely guess that the owner was either a VERY prominent noble or related to royalty who either has a sick torture fetish or jealous of elves' longivity. Who else waste a large sum of money just to make someone suffer to the brim like this?

It might have been a situation where selling a beaten up elf to a chop shop was easier than trying to directly hide a body without raising suspicion. I'll bet the plan was for her to just get cut up right away, but in a place where that would be expected and wouldn't give anyone a reason to ask questions. The poisons/curses would then have been a backup, in case the chop shop plan fell through (which it did).

Quite the fascinating condition, that was
    I... passed out...
    After the examination is complete
    *Clank*
    *Clink...*
Her right eye has recovered, but her vision is being purposefully blocked by mana. As for her left eye, I doubt a replacement would take, even if I had the requisite parts.
    *Clink...*
The problem with her limbs is not an external injury, but the combination of a degenerative curse and an aggressive infectious disease.
    ...Yes
Left as-is, her life will eventually be a concern, so unfortunately, we'll probably have to surgically remove all four of them here.
I was told that the condition of her limbs was simply due to a regenerative structure unique to elven bodies that was delaying the progression, and that this sort of condition would normally be untenable for the body. Because I couldn't pull the trigger on amputating her limbs, I had unwittingly exposed her very life to danger...
Her skin and internal organs will likely heal naturally; the issues are her limbs and eyes...
    Take these off.
