Let's see, as someone that uses ai generated stuff quite a lot (for ideas and writing mainly), there are things to keep an eye out to see if it is ai generated. Of course some artist could have then worked and fixed the stuff that the AI failed to do. It tends to be harder to spot those versions.

First. The hands near the hair braids. Cutoff points between one thing and the next tends to be something the Ais are pretty darn bad at. The braids themselves also look good, something I have noticed AI art tends to flub with at least once, yet here it doesn't appear to have failed at all.

Secondly, the hands themselves, they look slightly off. The right one (her right) seems to be lacking digits, but due to the pose, they simply could be out of sight. Her left hand, however has one digit that seems fused into the other, it could be an angle issue, but nevertheless, it is one of the potential indications this was AI generated.

Thirdly, light direction is something the AIs tend to be decent at after enough training, but it also tends to have nonsense failure points if you look closely.
    - The Nousagi on our upper left appears to have 2 shadow lines down their face without source. Likely the AI knowing there should be 2 shadows there, but not exactly where they should start (it was trying to simulate the shadow from the bunny ears). The nousagi in the lower right corner also has a nonsense shadow, this time it is oddly brown in colour, again indicating that it was an AI was behind some of the work.

And the easiest flaw to spot, the carrots. Most Ais seem to struggle with having something embedded in something else. Especially when it is something that isn't usually part of a whole. The carrots should be embedded in the braids but they are not, and artists would usually not make such an odd error unless it was something of an WIP image rather than the finalized product.

Now, Pekora herself seems... really well done truth be told. Everything besides her hands are consistent, shadows are well done and lighting is on point. Which makes me guess someone generated the art and then did some extra leg work to do some extra work for her body (or just got really lucky and specific with the Gen). I mean, the subtle shadow work is darn solid and the wrinkles are in places where it makes sense. The outer parts of her dress looks slightly off but that's about it.

Her eyebrow can be seen through the hair, pretty rare to have it seen in this subtle way and be correctly located. Again, something I would guess someone did after generating the art. Or, again, just got lucky.

Either way, yeah, pretty sure it is an AI generated image, as other approvers have noted. Just wanted to give my 2 cents on it. Plus prevent someone in the future from complaining about the image being "legit". Though admittedly, having seen some of the insane stuff that has been Genned I suspect that within few years it will (unfortunately) become really darn difficult to identify the fakes.

Another subtle red flag is her leotard. All official art shows it's just a normal leotard, but here it looks like the AI tried to draw panties, instead.

Thank you, now that you pointed them out, I noticed. It might've been that this was ai-generated then some parts were drawn over, that's why common ai-gen flaws aren't present. Or the ai is just getting better.

You could have just pointed out the floating carrots, fucked up hands and lack of pantyhose. Instead of this massive wall of text no one's reading.
