Is there some mass upload campaign I'm unaware of to get it to trend though? Honestly I'm genuinely curious as to what is going on because it's usually been a popular enough tag but it's never been this spammy with constant duplicates and what feels like this very particular push to raise it's visibility and make it the most ubiquitous tag on the site. I wouldn't be commenting on it so much if it wasn't extremely obvious for at least a couple weeks now.

The problem is that all of your comments for nearly a month have been whinging about Blue Archive. Knock it off before someone forces the issue.

I've commented on a few very obvious reuploads that for some reason keep showing up at the top of the hot tag where it's impossible not to notice time and again and a couple times where I agreed with people saying some of the tags were hard not to argue are oversaturated. That's been over the span of barely 10 days or so where before that I wouldn't have even agreed with them. It's just an opinion after all.

Again, its something you could have avoided by simply using "blacklist", but whatever.
Nothing secret involved here. Blue Archive artwork and characters are fine, spam uploading and reuploading images that are already in the database as well as vote brigading certain tags is pretty lame though. Probably a difficult concept to understand for your average American shitposter though.
Some of the stuff that makes it to the top of the hot tags page is kind of a joke to me though compared to the source sometimes where it can often barely register at the source site, but by god if it depicts a sex act or a hot trendy meme when uploaded to Danbooru it almost doesn't matter the quality of the image. Again just an opinion.
"Just an opinion" is not a defense for being annoying, especially over something you have been given the means to avoid, but choose to engage with anyway just to incessantly whine. We heard your complaints the first time (not that anybody cared), we didn't need to hear them another 12 times over the next two weeks.

People uploading things you don't like is not "spam uploading". People upvoting and favoriting things you don't like is not "vote brigading". Just accept that there are people who like things that you don't, and move on.
There are loads and loads of images on this site that I find abhorrent, but you don't see me (or any other well-adjusted adult) relentlessly bitching about them as you have been. That's because the rest of us have learned how to use our blacklists and let other people enjoy things.
