Chapter Sixty
Before the ritual begin, you must first prepare a stick of candle,
a handgun with a single bullet, as well as a secret you want to know. Ensure that the room designated for the ritual is fully sealed, and contains no other living organisms other than yourself, no other light source other than the candle.
This ritual is to be performed on the midnight of an important anniversary date. Light the candle before entering the room, read the inquiry out loud in front of the mirror thirty times. If the reflection does not change, leave the room immedietly and do not enter before daybreak. If the candle goes out while reading, you must also leave the room and do not attempt this ritual again.
If the ritual is successful, after reading your inquiry thirty times, your reflection in the mirror will turn into a blonde lady, you would've never met this lady before, but she will make you feel like you have. She will ask for your real name, you must answer honestly, after that she will ask whether you are willing to serve her.
If your answer is "No", the reflection will return to normal, you must leave the room immediately, abandon the name of your past, and live under a new name, otherwise the ritual will fail.
If your answer is "Yes", the lady in the mirror will ask you to aim your handgun at your left temple. If your will to serve is not sufficiently strong, or you aimed elsewhere, you will die, and the ritual will thus fail.
If your will to serve is sufficiently strong, the bullet exiting the barrel will not kill you, but it will instead strike the mirror, spiders will emerge from the mirror's crack, follow them, and rest where they stop.
When you next awake, you will be born anew, your mind will be clearer than ever. Within three days you will know that secret you inquired. From that point on your life will be smooth sailing and nothing will step in your way. One day in the future, you will meet this blonde haired lady in the mirror again. She will hand you a mission. You will lose your life for this mission, but you must accept.
Otherwise, the ritual will fail.
